Cute little cafe where I had a tea and muffin while reading a book. Service was fast and friendly. Food was great, it was a fun place to kill some time. I always enjoy seeing staff happy and friendly with each other, here they were chill and professional. Good work I'll be revisiting next time I'm killing time in Nelson!

Disappointed. They forgot our order even though the place wasn't very busy. And, as others said, they don't take plastic and screw you on the exchange rate if all you happen to have is US cash. The latte was decent when it finally arrived.

This place was disappointing. The cashier told us that she would not give the exchange rate since she "cannot do the math." Very disappointing, we should not have ever given this place business.

Their chocolate orange espresso muffin is to die for: luscious orange cake dotted with ground espresso beans and rich dark chocolate discs. The finely ground coffee in this super-moist muffin adds a subtle granular texture and depth of flavour to an already happy marriage of chocolate and orange.
